Celebrating Achievement

C.L.A.S.S. was created in 2001 as part of ContainerPort Group’s continuing effort to make CPG a great place to work. Now in its eighth successful year, C.L.A.S.S. is designed to recognize and reward those who make a special effort to excel in several areas that will help our company succeed:

  • CPG “Team of the Year” Award — Awarded to the CPG Team which best represents the achievement of our Mission Statement: “Become Intermodal’s Best By Achieving Excellence In All We Do.”
  • Longevity — Recognizing the hard work and dedication of our team members when they reach milestone anniversaries.
  • Attendance — Rewarding those individuals who achieve perfect attendance or near-perfect attendance.
  • Safety — A core value at CPG, our safety program encourages our mechanics, inspectors and equipment operators to work safe and work smart.
  • Substance Free — CPG provides and maintains a safe work place free from the use of drugs and alcohol. Employees must be in voluntary compliance with our drug and alcohol testing policy to be eligible for C.L.A.S.S. awards.

Excellence in these areas results in employee recognition, including first year anniversary pins, certificates of achievement, complimentary logowear, and a special event for the winning “Team of the Year” city.

New this year is “CLASS Acts,” our recognition program which allows all CPG employees and fleet contractors to recognize fellow teammates who have gone above and beyond and deserve kudos.
