  • Hazardous shipments: CPG will accept for transport non-bulk hazardous materials listed in 172.504, Table 2, of the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Motor Carrier Safety’s “Hazardous Materials-related Regulations.” CPG prohibits and will not accept or transport hazardous materials in bulk, nor any quantity of hazardous materials, listed in 172.504 Table 1 of the aforementioned publication. NOTE: Hazard Class 5.2 (Organic Peroxide) and Hazard Class 6.1 (Poison) are listed in both Tables 1 and 2. Authorization to transport these substances must be obtained in advance from CPG’s Risk Department.
  • Liquor permits to transport alcoholic beverages within, into or through the states of: Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
  • Cargo liability: CPG’s carrier cargo liability is $100,000 maximum per container load. Higher limits must be pre-arranged on a per-shipment basis and approved in writing by CPG’s risk management department. Additional fees may apply.
