ContainerPort Group, Inc. provides CY support services for the ocean carriers serving the Port of Virginia via the Norfolk Southern intermodal rail connection (please see www.vit.org for more detailed information on this service).

Inbound import loads arriving from Norfolk via the NS Intermodal rail operation can be picked up at the NS Intermodal facility located adjacent to the CY and the empties returned to the CY for storage. The CY can provide empty equipment for export bookings moving via the Greensboro NS Intermodal operation.
